GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!

today tappin company had our last competition of our 07-08 year...how sad! :(
we went to STARBOUND this morning because there were no workshops (thank goodness- they are killer!) so the performances started at 9am. we got there at 9ish and went to check the schedule to see where we were in the lineup. we figured out that they had mixed all of our dances up so our teacher's piece was in the 11-12 year old age group, our musical stage was listed as hip hop, our tap piece was listed as jazz and our jazz piece was listed as tap! it was really confusing! anyway- the order went: If my friends could see me now, You can't stop the beat, and This joint is jumping. i just got my tan jazz shoes that i had to wear for the competition in the mail on friday because we had to send mine back since they were to big so it was alittle stressful to break them in in a full 10 min. but oh well. and then we have these stupid rhinestone bracelets that we wear and a west coast they ripped all of our tights. so of course i have a brand new pair of tights and what happens?? oh no!! OH YES!! my tights get a huge run in them on the knee and it was backstage so i ran, got my teacher's extra pair (which were paler than everybody Else's), stripped my dress off, pulled on the pair of tights over my ones with the runs in it and hit the stage. i was so hot from dancing with 2 pairs of tights on the entire day... in the end i don't know what we scored but we got gold for all three of our pieces and big trophies! it was very exciting!
then we took tons of pictures because that is what we do best but there were only 3 of us there since my other half had to go to meeting about her brazil trip this summer and p.m. just wanted to go home!! we watched the little girlies dance and our teachers and then everybody left. my auntie and i were starving (we had to leave all of our food out in the car) so we pretty much pigged out on the way home! i love being a dancer so i don't have to worry about eating because the way i eat i should be FAT! my favorite dances were the Chaotic one that was jazz and frippen awesome and a duet with a guy and girl that had all these Amazing lifts and such! it was unfreakinbeleivable! (so sorry- that's my aunts word,i've been around her too long!) so the tappin co competing year is over...now on to the recital in may! ohhhh! i can't wait!! this is what my life revolves around- being a crazy dancer and loving every second of it!

6 UNIMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT ME!

#1- I am hopelessly obesessed with HARRY POTTER!! in every form...books, movies, posters, anything! JK is so amazing and the fact that dan is totally off the charts hot helps too! of course my new obession is Twilight.

#2- I love music of any kind, i'm very open to pretty much everything that gets thrown my way and my mood definatly determines the kind of music i listen too. I would absolutly DIE without my ipod! how else do u survive in high school?!?!?

#3- I dance at my studio 7 1/2 hours a week and work my butt off... that is probably how i can afford to demolish an entire box of girl scout cookies and still look decently skinny, well skinny enought that my ballet teacher doesn't yell at me! always a rule breaker! anyways i have been dancing for something like 12 years (i'm not sure how long but that is a rough estimate!) and competing for about 3 and i can't get enough! I love to tap- it's my favorite for, kind of out of the ordaniry and unique. I can hear the sounds with any song and it's CRAZY! what got me started was when my mom and i took classes with my 2 best friends as a Mother/ Daughter tap class! it was so fun but my mom retired her taps a couple of years ago so the daughters are solo and pretty much blowing everybody away!

#4- i have 5 AMAZING friends and we all pass around a journal that we started doing the summer before 7th grade. together we spell aspak! it's so awesome!

#5- I have a thing for converse or chucks! i have a pair of orange ones with no laces and a black/aqua pair that have my name stitched into them. they were my birthday present from costumized converse.com!! i have other pairs that have been retired and i'm thinking about building a shelf and putting them all on it!

#6- the thing i ALWAYS have to buy whenever i go shopping is post- its! i use them all the time and i found out that they have highlighter with tag post-its on the ends! it makes me so excited! I have a post-it wall in my room too! it all started when i hated throwing them all away and i thought they looked so colorful and cool so i took my one side of my floor to celing bookshelf and started platering it with used post-its of all different colors and shapes. Now i have a really cool wall with things i wrote months ago decorating my room!

BOMB THREAT!

i'm at home and it's 12:45 because we had a bomb threat. we had to evacuate the school and go sitting in the middle school but it was fun. my bro and i got to leave and don't have to go back until tomorrow! yayyyy! i have to go work on my pavan audition!

I have dancers block!

i seriously just wrote a ton under this but it deleted itself and now i'm even more agravated them before!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! i hate u computers!!!!!!

HAPPY almost EASTER!

yay- it's almost easter and that means CHOCOLATE!! the very thing that keeps me going... i luv chocolate bunnies especially! tomorrow we are having this little kid easter egg hunting really totally awesome thing and i'm so excited! i have to go decorate cupcakes for it so WOOT! still trying to decide what to wear- black and white w/ heels or w/flats or green w/heels. it's such a problem...

i just got home from a walk in the rain with my dog and it was so amazing... my favorite word!! plus i mean duh- gene kelly is so amazing (oh yeah) in the movie too!

ok so i'm listing to think twice which is this totally amazing song by eve six! i didn't have dance today so... i went to bells, sunday school (where i learned my name spelled alison is old german and means noble and exalting nature.ummm ok) and church. then i came home and thought i was going to go to winchester but i guess not. i baked a cake for tomorrow for my other half (which i saw the king and i with on sat.). she turns 16 tomorrow and we are going to see definatly maybe and go shopping (wink wink!) ohhh so happy! oh and nick i am so going to kick your butt so hard you aren't going to be able to sit down if you ever give out my blog address again.
